I've just watched a 1951 episode of "Lights Out" called "And Adam Beget" (on a DVD from Netflix). I would say that this story (with great Ditko art) was certainly based on the Lights Out episode.

Hmm. DC released a 96 page comic called the Jack Kirby Omnibus Sampler. Maybe they could put out a similar 44 pager for the remaining Ditko work? 'The Ditko Appendix', as mentioned above....

One more page to add to the list: Ditko illustrated what is, in essence, a Man-Bat pin-up to advertise the first issue of the short-lived "Man-Bat" series. I too doubt that these will ever be reprinted---but it certainly would be nice to supplement the Creeper and Ditko Omnibus volumes with a "Ditko Appendix"!

I'll have my copy soon to verify (and maybe Brian will have an entry for the book on Ditko Fever even sooner), but I'm pretty sure they didn't include Ditko's pages (18-23, 33, 34, 43, 44, 47) for the Wonder Woman story in DC SPECIAL SERIES #9 [1978], his 8-page Green Lantern chapter of a longer story in ACTION COMICS #642 [1989] and a few other minor bits. The original solicitation also didn't have all his Legion stories, but hopefully they caught that.

I had never read Shade before (Gasp)... This run is right up their with Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol! What if DC gave Shade to Ditko, but had a contract that they got to release all forthcoming Shade stories for the next 8 years...

Got volume 1. Pretty good. I wasn't expect it to be so thick.

Volume 2 looks good. Seems we'll be getting all the rest of Ditko's DC Superhero stuff: Hawk & Dove, Starman, Demon, Man-Bat, Odd Man, Legion of Super Heroes, Fourth World, etc.

I guess between the Creeper volume and these 2 Omnibuses, we will have ALL of Ditko's DC work.

And I see FBI is doing a third Ditko Archive early next year, too!!
