Mark Evanier reports the passing of Martin L. Greim.

Greim published COMIC CRUSADER and COMIC CRUSADER STORYBOOK from 1968 to 1977, which included a considerable amount of Ditko's independent work of the era, including several Mr. A. stories and the "H. Series" stories featuring D. Skys and The Screamer.  He also created his own comics, including David Manning - The Defender (seen below) and Thunderbunny.

--Link-- Ditko MURDER and HERO COMICS Kickstarter

Currently on Kickstarter, two more Snyder/Ditko publications.

MURDER was a three issue anthology title Snyder put out through Renegade in 1986 (part of his REVOLVER series), with some Ditko work in each issue, although some of those have already been reprinted in recent Snyder/Ditko publications.  That cover is from Charlton's 1954 STRANGE SUSPENSE STORIES #18, and there's quite a bit of Ditko stuff from the 1950s which could fit the theme, as well as some new material.

The Hero of HERO COMICS has been a regular of Ditko's 32-pagers for the last few years, plus there's the promise of some Mr. A. and a new character called V? among the mixed new and reprint contents of that book.

New Ditko - MR. A. #21

Now available from Robin Snyder and Steve Ditko is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first appearance of Ditko's creation Mr. A. in 1967 with the 48 page MR. A. #21.  This includes a reprint of the first Mr. A. story from WITZEND #3, a new 20-page story "Mr. A. and the Helpers", several of the iconic Mr. A. fanzine illustrations (some, like the cover, printed full-size for the first time in a widely available publication), three additional short reprint short stories ("The Captive Spark", "My Brother", "Libage vs. Chain") and a few more single pages on various topics, some of them pretty rare. Also included is the essay about Mr. A. that Ditko read for Ken Viola's documentary The Masters of Comic Book Art, in print for the first time, and another short new essay.

Should be available from the usual sources now or soon, including directly from Robin Snyder, contact details over here as usual.

Upcoming Ditko - #26 with Miss Eerie and ...

Ditko and Snyder aren't stopping with the recent #25. Coming soon is:

#26, which as you can see features the return of Miss Eerie, the character who debuted in DITKO PRESENTS [2009].  This will be the eighth Miss Eerie story, bringing her up to 64 pages if it's an 8-pager like all the others have been.

A few more familiar faces, including:

This will be Rex Graine's first return to the 32-page series since OH, NO! NOT AGAIN, DITKO! [2009], although he's had a few solo issues, both new and reprint, since then.

(or possibly it's The Outline, hard to tell with this small scan)

More details when available.
