Unusual Tales - The Gloomy One

"Unusual Tales", a series presenting Steve Ditko's comics from 1957 to 1959 that are in the public domain.

"The Gloomy One" is a 5-page story from Charlton's STRANGE SUSPENSE STORIES #31 [1957], a science fiction story about a man exiled from an alien planet for the crime of being too depressing, eventually finding his way to Earth.

Some really good artwork by Ditko in this one, I really like the struggling invisible form of the alien on page 4, and the visual effect on the last page is especially good.
